CATTARAUGUS REGION OPEN STUDIO TOUR
Artist Applications Now Being Accepted for Routes to Art 2009
Artists Are Invited Participate in Year Two of Open Studio Tour
Thanks to the efforts of Assemblyman Joseph Giglio, New York State has again awarded a $5,000 grant to our efforts for 2009! That vote of confidence was seconded by the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts which will again host a month-long exhibition prior to the open studio weekend. Also, the Arts and Business Council of New York State has awarded a $13,000 grant in recognition of the successful program launch.
Eligible artists do not need to have a studio of their own, but do need to either live in Cattaraugus County, Northern Pennsylvania, or be a member of the Seneca Nation. For more information or questions about the Routes to Art or the Cattaraugus County Arts Council, please email CCAC at artscouncil@verizon.net or call 716-372-7455.
